In restructuring, we accompany companies in difficulties. Our consulting services include preinsolvency consulting as well as consulting during insolvency proceedings. In some cases we also act on behalf of insolvency administrators. In pre-insolvency consulting, we examine the company for its problems, disclose and analyze them, determine the crisis situation and assess the company’s ability to restructure and the continuation of the company.
In close cooperation with the management, shareholders and creditors, we develop practicable solutions. Eckhold Consultants GmbH has over 30 years of consulting experience in the restructuring of companies.
The solutions are documented in a restructuring concept based on the IDW S6 standard in order to create the necessary confidence among creditors that the restructuring will be successful. The measures outlined in the remediation concept should not be viewed rigidly. Through our active implementation support within the turnaround process or until the crisis is averted, it is possible or may be necessary to analyze newly gained knowledge from the restructuring process accordingly to reconcile it with the specified measures and possibly to make an adjustment to the action plan.

If we come to the conclusion during the assessment of the actual situation or if it becomes apparent during the restructuring support that the company in crisis is not capable of being restructured and continued as a continuing concern, we support our clients in the formation of a fall-back solution and/or in the liquidation of the company up to the preparation of insolvency plans.
